= Overview =

Curblaster is an attempt to recreate the gameplay of a prominent Amiga clone of a prominent arcade game, in NCURSES.  It's still in development, and as of this writing you can fly and rescue pods, as well as score and advance levels.  There are landers, crawlers, and multiple powerups.  The pods fall when the landers carrying them are killed.  I will keep this page updated as progress is made.

The 1.0 release is out, with several bosses, and progressive difficulty.

== Enemies ==

<pre>{=}</pre>  Lander. Shoots at you, chases and grabs pods and if it gets to the top of the screen, it becomes:

<pre>}!{</pre>  Crazy. Chases you while shooting ferociously.  All landers will become these if all the pods die, so fly one through the gate early on.

<pre>/=\</pre>  Crawler. Stays at ground level, ignoring pods, and shoots at you.
